— a note from the founder

Why I built
Catching Sparks.

My name is Kir. For more than ten years I worked on brand voice for one of the largest transport networks in the world.

Like many people, I got excited by AI tools. The fact that one person could launch a product on their own — that really went to my head.

I started building. Most of my projects didn't land. I had nothing to offer, I thought. I kept going. One project actually had promise — but I hit a wall: I didn't know how to market it. I know brand voice. I know how to build corporate communications. But going into TikTok, doing clipping, buying leads — that's not my world. I wasn't ready for any of it.

I realized I couldn't do this alone. AI gave us the tools to act independently. But without a team, without experience across so many fields, it's a long and dark road. So what if we cut through all this modern marketing theater with its endless funnels?

That's how Catching Sparks was born — a starting platform where indie founders share their products and get feedback from real people. If there are sparks, sales will follow.

Each founder invites their own community. That community looks at other founders' products. Slowly the deck grows. Products accumulate. Ideas appear. The number of real users grows. Founders test their products, get clear signals, learn what's interesting, fix what's broken, become more visible, and grow. Or rebuild from scratch.

I wanted to do this without marketing tricks, manipulation, or inflated budgets. In the internet of 2026, where everything feels fake, I wanted to create a place for enthusiasts — to give people room to grow, to help find the connection between what you make and the people you make it for.

If you like this philosophy — come to Catching Sparks. Talk about us on your social channels more often. The more real people we bring in, the more your products get seen.
